I like buells too, but I think its a disservice to call them "Harleys". They had so much more potential.

They certainly do, which is largely due to HD meddling. I would have loved to see what Eric Buell could have done if HD gave him the freedom to build what he wanted.

My father in law works in East Troy like EBR. Since its a very small town (under 5,000 people) he and his employees run into the EBR guys. He told me that the story going around was that Hero Motocorp agreed to purchase the 49% interest, but only ever transferred half the money. It sounded like if they had received all the money they were due, they would have been fine. I obviously have no idea if that's true, but there's probably at least a grain of truth to it.
